CrewKit is designed to keep your data on your device. We do not run servers that store your content, we do not require an account, and we do not track you. This policy explains the details.
Nothing on our side. CrewKit has no user accounts and no backend. Your projects, daily logs, photos, and signatures are stored only in the app on your device. They are never uploaded to us, because we have nowhere to upload them to.
With your permission, CrewKit uses your device location for two on-device purposes:
To retrieve the weather, the app sends your approximate coordinates to Open-Meteo, a third-party weather service, solely to get the local forecast for that day. We do not store or log your location, we do not link it to your identity, and we never use it for advertising or tracking. If you deny location access, you can still type the weather in by hand and use every other feature.
Photos you add stay on your device. They are only included in a PDF or image when you choose to export or share a report using the iOS share sheet.
The one-time unlock is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or receive your payment information.
None. CrewKit contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.
CrewKit is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.
